Calling All Florida Touring Artists and Presenters

The Florida Artists and Presenters Network is underway! Join us for our third annual spring workshop.

WHO: Florida touring artists (or those who want to start touring) and small to mid-sized presenters
WHAT: Florida Artists and Presenters Network Third Annual Workshop Day. Created and convened by the Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Department of State
WHY: Bringing Florida touring artists together for learning, networking, sharing, and inspiration

Orange Park is South of Jacksonville

From I-95 South:

Exit I-95 South onto I-295 North.
Continue on I-295 over the Buckman Bridge.
Take exit SR-21 Blanding Blvd.
From the off-ramp, turn left onto Blanding Blvd.
Travel approximately 7 miles and turn left onto College Drive.
Go approximately 1-2 miles and the Orange Park Campus will be on the left.
Follow the signs to the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts parking lot.

From I-95 North:

Exit I-95 North onto I-295 South.
Continue on I-295 and take exit SR-21 Blanding Blvd.
From the off-ramp, turn right onto Blanding Blvd.
Travel approximately 7 miles and turn left onto College Drive.
Go approximately 1-2 miles and the Orange Park Campus will be on the left.
Follow the signs to the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts parking lot.

HOW MUCH: The assembly is free; we just ask that you register in advance
REGISTER NOW: The deadline for registration is April 2nd

This year the assembly topic is "Designing Residencies for School and Community," facilitated by Donna Wissinger, an accomplished flutist and music educator.

Bring samples of photos and press kits, your experiences, your questions and your curiosity. A beautiful boxed lunch will be available for $10.00 or bring your own brown bag!

You must register by April 2, 2007 to participate so let us know you're coming!

Form a carpool, a convoy, a charter - fly, bus, drive, or train - but GET TOGETHER and attend. Find other presenters and TEAM UP; hang with other touring artists and CREATE A SCENE - any way you can, BUT BE THERE!.
